Southerness Golf Club raise £6,000!

Southerness was a favourite golf course of the late Dan Maskell who played there regularly when in Scotland and when the Trust launched its appeal via the Virtual Golf Tournament, staff member Gill suggested a Golf Day as part of this fundraising effort. 160 golfers signed up to take part and via donations, a silent auction and raffle they raised this amazing total. Dan’s daughter Robin Charlton, a Vice President of the Trust named after her father attended with DMTT Ambassador Keith Thom who plays wheelchair tennis himself.

The top four pairs in the Competition will be put forward into the National Tournament to see who wins the overall prizes. (The National Prize-Giving will take place on 7th October via video-conferencing)

The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust Virtual Golf Tournament is taking place now, until the 25th September – full details of how you could get involved, visit
