DMTT has relaunched its Coachathon fundraising initiative – postponed due to the pandemic – for tennis venues and coaches to showcase their venues and coaching teams and to raise funds for themselves and Dan Maskell Tennis Trust.
The LTA announces a partnership with The National Lottery to become the Official Partner of the LTA’s Wheelchair World-Class Programme for the next two years. The partnership will provide crucial support to the current elite level of the sport as they prepare for Tokyo 2020 and also look to encourage more juniors, men, women and quads to pick up a racket for the first time, feeding into one of the most successful disability sport programmes in the UK.
The LTA has updated its Return to Play Guidelines to support the resumption of its’s Open Court disability tennis programme.
The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust is hosting two online LD Tennis Social Sessions. We will combine tennis drills you can do at home with some fun activities and a chance to say “hi” to other LD Tennis Players.
Our campaign of a virtual physical challenge was created in December. With the second lockdown in place we wanted to not only raise much needed funds to continue our work, but also provide a physical challenge to all our tennis players who currently can’t take part in their great sport.
On Sunday 20th December, players from the Visually Impaired Tennis community, along with friends and supporters, will take part in our physical challenge.
Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, a national tennis charity that serves tennis to disabled people, has received an early Christmas present in the form of a grant of £10,000 from the Tennis Foundation to support the continuation of its work in the wake of the impact of COVID

From Thursday 24th August – Sunday 3rd September, DMTT is running an online auction on eBay to raise funds for our grant funding programme for people with disabilities who play tennis.
