The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust was incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of Val Fisher last week. Val was a passionate wheelchair tennis player who will be remembered by so many as being the person who convinced them to try tennis, who was the person who made them feel comfortable at their first event and above all else, was a person who always cared about others. Val was instrumental in fundraising for the Trust, helping to organise fundraisers at the Shrewsbury Wheelchair Tennis
The first Dan Maskell Tennis Trust Virtual Golf Tournament has raised an incredible £11,520. This Tournament was instigated to help make up for the loss of income due to our regular Golf Celebrity Challenge not running for two consecutive years due to the pandemic.
